2019년 필리핀 교육센터 현지관리자 워크샵 후기

필리핀 교육센터에서는 매년 어드민팀, 강사팀 (2팀)으로 나누어 매년 여행을 가는데요,


이번 후기는 필리핀 센터 총괄 매니저 Diana님이 작성해주신 후기여서 영어로 작성된 점 양해 해주시길 바랍니다!



다음 달 경에는 강사님들의 행사도 계획 중이니,


추후 올려드릴 신나는 강사님들 행사 후기도 많은 기대바랍니다! :)







ADMIN OUTING

MAY 04, 2019



Finally, the most awaited day has arrived. To make sure that people would arrive on time, we decided that the first team that would be complete would receive an award.




Before departure, all participants had their breakfast. Because of excitement, one of our NS analysts (Sir Donn) didn't realize his shirt was on backwards. He questioned himself and the others why his shirt was round neck while V-neck for the other members.



After breakfast and checking of attendance, everyone boarded the bus and we were all set for the day. ^^





After a two-hour trip, we arrived at PUERTO DE SAN JUAN, the venue of the outing. Everyone was awed by the beauty of the beach and the resort. After touch down, everyone changed into their swim suits and also put on sunscreen for protection.



Of course, picture taking will always be part of the activity.

The admin was divided into 4 teams:


Blue Team

Red Team


Purple Team

Green Team



White Team (facilitators)


The day was formally opened by opening and welcoming remarks courtesy of Ma'am Diana.



After which, the first game was explained. The games brought out the competitive side of our admin team, but it also brought everyone closer because of the need to strategize and work as a team.



The first game required team members to hold a container using only the feet of certain members. There were two other members that had to fill the container with water from the beach, using only materials that they had on them (example, hats, shirts, etc.) First team to fill the container with water, wins.




Green Team won the first game


The second game was called "Boat Wars." Chosen members had to be carried over by other team members across a 'finish' line.



Teams could distract other members by standing in the way, as long as physical contact was not made. Some stumbled and some lost balance. However, the soft sand of the beach made sure that no one was hurt.


Blue Team won the second game. ^^


After the second game, we all took a rest and started preparation for lunch. Some were slicing, some were grilling, and of course, some were singing their hearts out on the karaoke machine.





Preparation of lunch time, and the actual meal time is always something special in any Filipino gathering. It's a bond that is easily built over food as stories are shared, smiles are seen and laughter is heard.


After getting our stomachs filled with good food, it was time for games again.



The third game was popping of balloons. HOWEVER, before popping the balloons, each member had to turn around 20 times. After feeling dizzy, they were tasked to run to a designated area, where they should pop the balloon.



It was a close match between the BLUE and GREEN team. The GREEN team won by a split second. It was very exciting to watch. :)


After the third game, it was time for the last game. It was called "Amazing Race." There were three hurdles to the race.



In the first hurdle, members had to first look for their own puzzle set and then solve the puzzle.



The puzzles were the core values of the company: Honestly, Empathy, Innovation and Success. The colors corresponded with the four colors of the teams. Blue had HONESTY. Red had EMPATHY. Purpose had INNOVATION and lastly, SUCCESS was given to the Green Team.


After the puzzle solving, they had to run and tag the next four members of their team. The second hurdle required 4 members of the team to run from Point A to Point B. The challenge was that their feet were all tied together. They had to work as a team and communicate well to make sure that they all moved in sync.



The third hurdle was a sprint to the finish line. However, before being able to run, they had to turn around 20 times as well, to make the last and final hurdle just that much more challenging.



The Blue team bagged their second win with this game.


After all the games, there was down time for everyone. Some people went back to the beach, some lounged around the pool, some decided to eat some more while some continued singing on the karaoke.


The giving of awards followed soon after and with that, the day ended. ^^

    분위기도 너무 화기애애해 보여서 글과 사진만 봐도 현장 분위기가 느껴지는 것 같아요!! ㅎㅎㅎ
    매년 워크샵으로 사기충전하다니!! 회원들에게 포인트 팡팡 주시는만큼, 직원분들에게도 신경을 많이 써주시는게 느껴져용! ㅎㅎ 앞으로도 계속 좋은 컨텐츠와 서비스 잘 부탁합니다!!ㅎ
